The detailed level of security settings allows a company to give any degree of access to users. This can be very useful especially in the case of giving access to vendors or clients.
For example, if a software company wishes to give a client company manager called ‘Joe Black’ permission only to enter bugs, and view bugs added by the client. The project administrator will add the user ‘Joe Back’ to the workspace ‘Inventory Management System’, which is that client’s project. Go to the administrator settings for
Bug Tracker, and set the permission ‘Add Bugs’ and ‘View client bugs‘ for Joe Black.
